Bullseye Sensory Clinic (Leeming)

Mystery of the Missing Egg 

Join us at Bullseye Sensory Clinic for a school holiday program featuring small group activities led by our occupational therapists and speech pathologists.

AREAS OF DEVELOPMENT THE PROGRAM WILL WORK ON:

 Social skills: problem solving, working as a team, role-playing and using imagination.

Fine and gross motor skills: creative tasks that focus on using motor planning and organisational skills.

Communication skills: comprehension, descriptive language, giving and following instructions.

Building confidence, coping skills and resilience.


ACTIVITIES:

  •  Creative art
  •  Scavenger hunt
  •  Team problem-solving games

WHEN: The program runs over three days (Monday 17th, Wednesday 19th and Friday 21st April) split into a morning or afternoon session based on age.
10AM – 12PM: 6 to 8 years old
1:30PM – 3:30PM: 9 to 11 years old
COST: $352 for the three-session program (health fund rebate may be available)

CounterBalance Fitness (Booragoon)

CounterBalance Fitness offers a School holiday program for children aged 5 to 12 years of age.
The daily program runs from 9am to 3pm through the school holiday period.

Fun activities that the children will be introduced to include some of the following.
Obstacle Course (Monkey bars, balance beams and balls, agility running etc
Boxing for Fitness (Punch bags, skipping, running & introduction to self-defence) NO CONTACT

Ball Skills – Basketball, Netball, Soccer, Cricket, AFL, Shooting Catching and Throwing
Cardio Zone – Introduction to Cardiovascular fitness including Rowers, Skiers, Bikes
Flex n’ Stretch – Allocated time each day to introduce and ensure correct and safe stretching exercises to maintain, improve flexibility, balance and injury prevention.
Game Zone- Table tennis, Ring throwing, Golf Putting etc through competition… NO IPADS!!!

We provide you the choice to either book your child in for a whole week at a special discounted rate OR the flexibility to book your child in for Individual days depending on your varying commitments.

If you have more than one child to book into the CounterBalance School holiday program, we also offer a reduced rate for additional siblings.

Day rate: 1 child $90, Second child $80, Third child $70
Week rate: 1 child $300, second child $260, Third child $200

Scales and Tails Animal Encounter (Murdoch)

Scales and Tails on the 15/4/2023 at 6.30-8.30pm
(An animal encounter and night walk at Piney Lakes Environmental Education Centre) 

Enjoy some family fun discovering more about local reptiles and our native animals in a close-up, hands-on encounter and night walk. 

Gain a better understanding of animals with scales like reptiles and animals with tails like mammals and birds. Find out what to do if you see a animal on a bush walk and who to call if you have a scaly visitor to your house. Throughout the session, there will be plenty of chances to come up close to an animal and we may even discover more on our night walk? You may even gain a new appreciation for these incredible animals and learn more about there habitats.

Not Yet Perfect – Family Pottery Class (Applecross)

Not Yet Perfect is now offering a pottery workshop for the whole family!

During this two hour workshop, you can get creative and have fun with the kids (six and over) and experience the beauty, the fun and the chaos of the pottery wheel.

Learn the ins and outs of pottery, get messy, and find that child like creativity that lives in us all.

This workshop is suitable for absolute beginners! Kids aged 6+.

When: Sunday 16th April 1.30-3.30pm

Yogazeit (Fremantle, Samson)

Join us for two mornings of Yoga and Mindfulness for the WHOLE Family!

These FREE community engagement events support mind-body wellness, connection and calm for the young and the young at heart. 

Yogazeit’s fun Yoga mornings will foster partner activities with you and your children while exploring tools to support mental and physical health and wellness. 

One breath at a time. 

Enjoy a gentle, playful, all-abilities yoga class and learn about Mindfulness for healthy bodies and minds.  

Suitable for ages 0 – 109!

Strictly limited spots. 
BYO Yoga mat or towel.
Registration is essential!
