Break Point Tennis (Applecross, South Perth)

Our School Holiday Clinics run on every term break at Applecross Tennis Club and South Perth Tennis Club.

Clinics are designed for enjoyment, as we acknowledge the children who attend are on holidays and keen to have some FUN!

All children aged 4 & over can attend the 4 x 3-hour sessions spread over a week. Each morning is made up of tennis basics, tennis specific games and other fun sporting activities.

$170.00 per child for 4 days.

Week 1: 28th September – 1st October 2021
Week 2: 4th – 7th October 2021

Remember to bring morning tea, hat, water bottle and sunscreen.

Castledare Miniature Railway (Wilson)

Bring your children and enjoy a ride along the beautiful Canning River and through the Wilson wetlands on one of our trains. This is one of the longest miniature train rides in Australia. The whistle blows, a green flag is waved and off you go on your adventure. Children of all ages, including those of us who wished we were still children, enjoy the experience.


Trains run every Wednesday during the school holidays from Wilson station (located in Wilson Park) between 10:00 and 1:30. Rides take approximately 12 minutes and trains depart constantly during the operating hours. All rides leave from and return to Wilson station.

Electric BBQs and a children’s playground are provided in the park by the City of Canning so why not make a day of it.


Be warned – one ride is seldom enough, so you can purchase multiple tickets at our ticket office and save having to queue again.

East Fremantle Yacht Club

Would your kids like to learn how to sail? We are running our Tackers 1 & 2 courses during the September school holidays from Tuesday 28th Sept – Friday 1st October (8.30am – 12.30pm).

Tackers is an introductory, fun, games-based sailing program perfect for kids aged 7 – 12 years. All the equipment, including the boats, is provided.

The cost is $140 (members) & $200 (non-members, which includes a 21/22 Junior Membership).

Little Land (Balcatta)

Looking for something a little different to do these school holidays? 

Little Land is your little one’s favourite town – a scaled down version of the real-world inspiring learning through role-play.

Whether it be doing the grocery shopping at the Little Growers Market, making a coffee at the local cafe, doing laundry at home, teaching in the classroom, visiting the doctor, grooming pets, or helping with the town’s construction – the fun is in the exploring!

Designed for children up to 8 years old, play sessions are 90 minutes in duration and hosted at 9am, 11am, 1pm Monday – Saturday – with 3pm sessions also on Fridays, Saturdays and select days during the school holidays.

Mandarin Stars Perth South (Ardross)

Let’s go Yum Cha! and be a junior master chef with Mandarin Stars!

Mandarin Stars will be running Mandarin Chinese language workshops this Spring school holidays and connecting children with the Chinese language through the topics of Moon Festival, fruit and Chinese food! All workshops will be held at Ardross Primary School from Thursday 30/9/2021 to Saturday 2/10/2021 for children aged 4 to 12 years. 

There are three 2-hour workshops to choose from:


1) Celebrating Moon Festival – learn how to make moon cake and lantern; and also the fairy tale story behind the celebration.

2) Fruit Galore in Mandarin – learn all about our favourite fruits in Mandarin and also the basic Mandarin greetings, colours and numbers….

3) Chinese Food and A Mini Yum Cha Time – children will be introduced the traditional Chinese food and making some dumplings and sweet glutinous rice balls. We will then reward ourselves with a well earnt mini Chinese Yum Cha together!
