A true inspiration…

Join us for this beautiful morning at the Blue Water Room with inspirational speakers Vicky Pellowe and Sarah Rusbatch

Sit back, relax and allow yourself to be treated to a beautiful high tea whilst overlooking the South of Perth Yacht Club, high on the hill at Heathcote, Applecross.

Our first special guest speaker, Vicky Pellowe was Diagnosed with Stage IV Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma at 29, and understands how it feels to be confronted with your worst physical fears and toughest mental challenges all in the space of one sentence: ‘you have cancer’. Being thrown into vigorous treatment while her world was turned upside down, Vicky had to navigate the possibility of being left infertile as a result of her treatment – seemingly destroying her dream of motherhood. Vicky has a captivating, passionate energy about her and works to empower others to be active participants in their health care experiences, rather than recipients. Another passion close to Vicky’s heart is to improve the holistic support available for those facing life after cancer treatment and in remission.

Sarah Rusbatch is our 2nd speaker for the morning. Sarah is a certified Health and Wellness Coach, accredited ‘Grey Area Drinking’ coach, host of two thriving online communities for women in sobriety and a passionate ambassador for supporting women change their relationship with alcohol – for good. Sarah now works with women across the globe to change their relationship with alcohol, build new coping mechanisms to deal with stress and overwhelm, rediscover who they are as they enter their 40’s and beyond and ultimately find joy and freedom in life.

Sarah has been sober since early 2019 following a 2-year journey of attempting (and failing) to moderate her alcohol consumption. With her decision to remove alcohol from her life completely came many unexpected joys, including the feeling of absolute and total freedom!

All proceeds from this event will support the Look Good Feel Better foundation. Look Good Feel Better is a free national community service program, run by the Cancer Patients Foundation, dedicated to teaching cancer patients how to manage the appearance-related side-effects caused by treatment for any type of cancer.

Come and join us for a morning of beautiful food, friends and connection. Each guest will receive a beautiful Gift Bag with unique products from local businesses to take home.

Places limited so book early!
