The glorious, open-air celebration of the rich living culture and songs of Ieramugadu (Roebourne) is returning to Perth.
Proudly presented in partnership with the Roebourne community and City of Melville, Songs for Freedom attracted 3,000 people last year and will return to Dyoondalup (Point Walter) on the Swan River with a fantastic line-up of artists and outstanding new songs.
Songs for Freedom is a rare opportunity to immerse yourself in a beautiful live performance which captures the essence of the Pilbara.

With music direction by broadcaster and Grammy award-winning artist Lucky Oceans, join us for an audio visual journey under the stars for all the family, celebrating the great north west of the state.
Songs for Freedom features an ensemble of leading WA musical collaborators and Ngarluma, Yindjibarndi and other Indigenous artists.
The concert will run between 7-10pm and is free to attend with no bookings required.
Bring a picnic rug and settle in from 5.00pm and enjoy some of the great cuisine on offer from food vendors and trucks parked along the river front and enjoy the free kid’s activities before the main event.
