Event Details

To celebrate National Reconciliation Week, Neighbourhood Development are hosting a community Nyin, Ni, Koorliny (sit, listen and walk), where you can listen to tales of the dreaming at our Stolen Generations artwork, Dyoondalup and then stroll along our beautiful Jennalup (Blackwall Reach) while listening to Noongar stories thanks to Geotourist app! This is also an opportunity for you to think about what you would like to pledge to reconciliation.

The reflective walk will be from Biction Baths to Dyoondalup/Point Walter, along the Djenna Bidi Yorga/foot path. Buses will be provided to drop participants off from Dyoondalup/Point Walter to Biction Baths to complete the reflective walk.

What to bring:

  • Picnic rug/fold up chairs
  • Lunch (as only light lunch/snacks are provided)
  • Umbrella and rain coat, in case of rain
  • Sun screen
  • Water bottle
  • Face mask

What to wear:

  • Enclosed shoes for reflective walk
  • Long sleeve top and bottoms are preferred for sun protection
  • Hat
  • Sunnies (optional)
