The City of Melville is taking part in Australia’s largest reuse and sustainability event again this year, which has been expanded to two whole weekends of garage sales across Australia on Saturday, 12 and Sunday, 13 November and Saturday, 19 and Sunday, 20 November 2022.


Garage Sale Trail is a great way to make a quick buck for yourself, your club, school or community group, all the while diverting items from landfill! You can sell online or in your community over two big weekends of garage sales.You’ll be part of a national event making a big impact, and you’ll recieve resources, tips and tricks to making your sale a success, as well as touch free PayPal payments. Setting up your Garage Sale Trail listing takes less than five minutes. It’s free and anyone can do it!

As part of this Spring’s festival of pre-loved stuff, Garage Sale Trail presents the Trail Tutorials; a series of inspiring, educational and FREE webinars all about sustainable fashion and renovations. This year’s all-star line up includes;

  • Annabel Crabb – Walkley-Award winning journalist, commentator, presenter and author.
