To celebrate International Museums Day, Embroidery Guild group Innovative Stitches is running a workshop for adults – Make your Own Brooch.

The brooch making session is part of Wireless Hill Museum’s exhibition Signals Cyphers and Stories, and is being held on the annual Open Day which runs in conjunction with the National Trust Heritage Festival.

Suitable for both beginners and more experienced stitchers, participants will learn to sew a variety of canvas work stitches and take home a lovely finished brooch to wear. All materials will be supplied.

Registration essential. Limited places. Ticket price: $15.00. Light refreshments included.
